Golden Sword is a weapon in the Weapons category of Minecraft, obtained through crafting it. It cannot be stacked, so each Golden Sword occupies a full inventory slot on its own. With a base durability of 32 uses, it can be repaired and enchanted.
Its 32-point durability sets how many actions it survives before breaking, and pairing it with Unbreaking multiplies that effective lifespan while Mending repairs it from collected experience. Gold gear mines and attacks quickly and enchants exceptionally well, but its very low durability means it wears out fast compared with sturdier materials. When enchanted, it can carry 10 different enchantments, including Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, and Knockback.
