Where to Find Eye of Ender in Minecraft

Spread over Nether (for Blaze Powder) and Overworld (for Ender Pearls), Eye of Ender has no single address, and each of those 2 comes with its own way of getting Eye of Ender. Because this is a Nether-side item, you first need an active Nether portal (a frame of obsidian lit with flint and steel) to reach the dimension where it is found. Throw into the air to locate the nearest Stronghold; it floats toward the Stronghold direction. Each throw has a 20% chance to shatter the Eye. Eye of Ender does not spawn naturally in the world or generate in chests as standard loot: it is something you make at a Crafting Table, so the practical question is where to gather its ingredients rather than where to find the finished item.

The most reliable way to get Eye of Ender is to craft it at a Crafting Table from Ender Pearl and Blaze Powder: 2 ingredients, a fixed grid, and no luck involved anywhere. Crafting Eye of Ender needs Blaze Powder (craft from a blaze rod, splitting it into two powder), and each of those has its own place in the world to come from. The End Portal requires 12 Eyes of Ender, though some frames may already have eyes placed. On average, bring 15+ Eyes to account for shattering and portal frames. Storage is no problem here: 64 Eye of Ender per slot, 576 across a hotbar row and 1728 in a single chest, so gather as much as the trip allows.
