Overview
White Bed is a block in the Utility Blocks category of Minecraft, obtained through crafting it. It cannot be stacked, so each White Bed occupies a full inventory slot on its own.
White is the colour the game starts from: sheep grow white wool on their own, so White Bed needs no dye at all, and white dye (bone meal or a lily of the valley) exists to lighten the other fifteen. Breaking White Bed works against a hardness of 0.2. An explosion meets the same 0.2, so White Bed is no safer against TNT than against a tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you get White Bed in Minecraft?
White Bed is crafted at a Crafting Table using White Wool and Planks.
What is White Bed used for?
White Bed is a white bed that lets a player sleep through the night and sets their respawn point. It explodes if used in the Nether or the End.
How many White Bed can you stack?
White Bed does not stack, so every one you carry costs its own slot and its own 3 White Wool and 3 Planks.
What dye does White Bed need?
None. White Bed is white wool, and sheep grow that without any dye.
How long does White Bed take to break?
Hardness 0.2, blast resistance 0.2: that is what the game stores for White Bed. With both at 0.2, White Bed is not something you rely on for protection. No tool is attached to White Bed, so bare hands lose nothing. Source for all of it is the Java 26.2 release itself.
When was White Bed added to Minecraft?
White Bed was added in the early Alpha development period.
